About
Learning chip verification has always had the same problem: the tools are locked behind commercial licences, and the licences are locked behind employers. You cannot practise what you cannot run.
Zenzei exists to remove that step. We build our own SystemVerilog simulator, put it in the browser, and wrap it in demos and courses worth working through. No installs, no licence server, no lab machine — just write code and run it.
Free sandboxes and demos draw engineers in. They learn hands-on, and some of them stay. That funds deeper sandboxes, which mature into tools worth paying for. Meanwhile every free run is real-world testing that hardens the very simulator we eventually sell.
It is the same funnel the established players run — except we own the tool at the centre of it instead of licensing someone else's.
Get involved
Zenzei is early and the work divides cleanly. Bring your interest and your skillset — full-stack, backend, simulator/EDA, ML, DevOps and security, or content and curriculum.
Web app and API, auth and accounts, database and content model, billing and tiers.
Authoring the demos and graded courses for each domain.
The RTL/DV simulator, the in-browser IDE, and the future AI sandbox.
Hosting, edge protection, sandbox hardening, monitoring.
Create an account and try the platform first — the fastest way to understand what needs building is to run something on it.
